Well said!

Once again, the horseshoe theory explains it well. The left wants to punish the rich. The right wants to punish the brown. Both ends of the spectrum are more eager to punish than to make the world better!

In college, was taking political science course on political thinkers. They had the usual crowd, Lenin, Marx, Mao, Jefferson, Hamilton, Paine, all of whom I knew. There was one other guy who had never heard of, Edmund Burke. So did my paper on him, read most of his "Reflections on the French Revolution". My take was that Burke knew the average working man or farmer was not the sharpest knife in the draw, but they also were not dumb. They were well aware of when they were being taken advantage of. That has not changed, Burke's brand of conservatism works and produces real advancement.
