Elaine Kamarck and Bill Galston talk Democratic Party Politics
Podcast partner John Ellis was off taking a well-deserved rest last week, so I interviewed my old friends, the famed Democratic duo from the Brookings Institution, Kamarck and Galston, about the current state of the Democratic Party—especially the State of the Biden. We talked immigration, the ongoing disaster of identity politics, Biden’s age (Elaine got to see him in a private setting last week) and the future. They predicted a Congressional switcheroo: The House goes Democratic and the Senate flips Republican in 2024.
