This past week John Ellis and I talked politics in a podcast for Bridgewater Associates. John is a friend of long standing, but also one of the great political analysts of our time. His News Items newsletter on the Substack platform is essential daily reading for those interested not only in American and International politics and economic affairs, but also the latest advances in science and medicine.
We sat down with Jim Haskell of Bridgewater. Here’s some background on him:
Jim joined Bridgewater in 2003 and currently serves as Senior Portfolio Strategist and Editor of the Bridgewater Daily Observations. He is also a Partner at the firm and a Director on Bridgewater's Operating Board of Directors.
During his entire tenure, Jim has partnered with Bridgewater’s CIOs and senior researchers to communicate all aspects of Bridgewater’s market, economic, and portfolio structuring content to clients and the broader external world. Jim created Bridgewater’s first podcasts, which are now a regular staple of the Bridgewater Daily Observations. Prior to the Global Financial Crisis, Jim published research on the dangers of over leveraging in the global economy and specifically the US housing sector.
John and I are contemplating a regular podcast that will be available to paid subscribers of Sanity Clause. This first effort is available to all members of the Sanity Caucus. Your input and suggestions for what we might discuss in the future would be appreciated

I'll again request your source for the proposition that Russia influenced the 2016 election, specifically regarding the Black vote in four cities in swing states.
