Gentlemen, on the subject of the Arizona abortion ban from the 1800s, I think you will find that this law elicits political contributions from Republicans - Republican women, anyway - along with Democrats. All Republicans are not Trump cultists, thank God. I think most women (and, I hope, men) see this as a larger issue than abortion alone; it is an issue of control. On the subject of NPR, you cannot imagine how important public radio is to Alaskans! Particularly those of us who live in bush Alaska (remote communities, mostly Alaska natives). Maybe we are more like Midwestern farmers in this regard? Public radio is so special here that we have an annual two-hour Christmas call-in show, the only one like it in the country, where people all over the state can call in and send their holiday good wishes out, via live radio, to their friends and family.
