I've generally voted Democrat, but not reflexively. To hear a series of Republicans attacking Wall Street, and a major Democrat intellectual (Klein) praising it, is extraordinary. The reality is that the GOP seems to have become the party of blue collar populism, and the Democrats the party of elites. If I had to choose between JD Vance (who is no phony) winning on a populist platform, or Was Moore defending Wall Street, I'd take Vance in a heartbeat. Labels mean nothing.

If you really think Trump/Vance will after Wall Street I’ve got a bridge I want to sell and you sound like a likely buyer.

That's not really the point. The rich always have clout. But the Democrats have embraced elitism with uninhibited gusto. The have nots are become Republican,.

I’m less than 10 years from retirement and my 401K balance is higher than it’s ever been. Everything else aside, that’s reason enough for me to vote for the status quo.

I love Wes Moore. The Democratic Party is full of rising stars with great potential and Moore is in the front row.

Totally agree. We need Wes Moore to be our future.

There are a number of them out there, those are only two.

Nice article. A lot of politics is doing what one has to do to get elected. Sometimes that makes a difference and sometimes they are the same, past is not necessarily prologue in politics.

And Pat Ryan, Congressman from NY. Check out his resume and the work he does for veterans and his call for Biden to step down. Might be worth your having a beer and burger with him. He’s one of the best.
