Trump's Speech
Not Much to Say
“The average person just wants shit to work. I don’t give a shit if you’re a Republican, a Democrat, an Independent—just live in the zone of practicality. And the far right and the far left live in a different universe.”
— Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), talking to Bill Maher.
Trump did his job. He revealed nothing. Most of what he said was balderdash, The question is, Will Americans tolerate this half-assed war? My guess is, they will. He can declare victory and walk. The Straits of Hormuz, in Topeka, are someone else’s business. It’s possible he’ll get away with it, since Americans just don’t care—unless gas prices don’t come down and, even then, the Trumpist Cult will continue to love him,
We have no idea how debilitated the Iranian government is, My suspicion is the Revolutionary Guards are cruahed sufficiently to need some breathing room. The IRGC are not shi’a religious fanatics. They are fascists. The velayat-a-faqih extremists were—unlike most Shi'a—foolish militants, but together, with the IRGC, they decided that the best way to preserve the status quo was to be as obstreperous as possible. They were wrong.
Breathe deeply, Mr. Ghalibaf. Think carefully. Choose correctly and you can be an oil magnate making huge industrial deals in Davos next January. Return to the rest of us, especially those of us who read Rumi, and remember the justice of Cyrus, and love the sophistication and irony of the Persian people. We can have so much fun together!

President Trump in a sober and judicious manor explained the reason for the military engagement in Iran, the objectives, the historically extraordinary military accomplishments in only 32days, that the top levels of the IRG regime have been irradicated down to the Brigade level, that his administration is in negotiations with the some of the remaining leadership (which we know is through Pakistan intermediaries) and the unprecedented cooperation with the US’s Mideast allies established by his nobel peace prize worthy Abraham accords. President Trump politely scolded NATO countries for not stepping up to help secure the Strait of Hormuz because it is their problem, no oil flows through it to the US. It once again brings up the question of why the US should even participate in NATO if those countries don’t take some responsibility and contribute. Concluding President Trump described the two directions in which the exercise will end and stated the timeframe was two to three weeks.
So Joe you call it “balderdash”, once again demonstrating that you are too ignorant, too stupid and are suffering from TDS and so you are incapable of understanding what President Trump explained. Referencing Elissa Slotkin to explain what the “average person” thinks is another laugher. Like you, Elissa is so far down the IQ curve she isn’t capable of comprehending what the “average” person thinks. And if you bother to listen to her entire statement she starts out with “I don’t know”.
Joe I encourage you to seek professional help to deal with your TDS mental illness. You’ve become irrational. I can’t imagine wanting to go through life in some alternate reality. Good luck.
Finally, as a public service and since the losers in the lamestream media will not, I’ll provide a link to the simple explanation for this military engagement. Secretary of State Marco Rubio explains that “We were on the verge of an Iran that had so many missiles and so many drones that no one could do anything about their nuclear weapons program in the future. That was an intolerable risk.”

Consider the number of groups in Iran who will have by now reached out to Trump in high secret. All these groups see the possibility of being the next leaders of Iran.
They are all offering President Trump there credentials to run Iran. Who will Trump choose?
At the same time the remaining official leaders of Iran, broadcast loudly they are not in any talks with Trump and the silly mainstream media run with that story just to embarrass Trump (They are always on the lookout for clickbait)
President Trump has to keep quiet to protect the people and groups he is talking too. For any potential Iranian leaders, this is a dangerous time.
